The article discusses research on prejudice-reduction interventions and applies this to three topics common in psychology courses, to demonstrate where anti-ableist activities/discussion can be built into courses across the psychology curriculum.

College of Arts and SciencesClaude E. Gagna, Ph.D., professor of biological and chemical sciences, published a peer-reviewed journal article titled "," on August 2, 2024. This research project reveals how advanced clinical dermatopathology immunohistochemical screening for squamous cell carcinoma can aid in the treatment of this potentially life-threatening disease. Metastatic squamous cancer with occult primary is a disease in which squamous cancer cells spreads to the lymph nodes in the neck.

School of Health ProfessionsMark Gugliotti, D.P.T., associate professor of physical therapy, authored a textbook titled The book, published July 31, 2024, by Routledge, focuses on the basics of spinal manual therapy and transferring that knowledge into practice within a clinical environment.
Andreas Theodoridis
School of Architecture and DesignAndreas Theodoridis, Ph.D., assistant professor in the architecture department, appeared in Season 2, Episode 19 of Fasma ("Spectrum"), aired by Greece's state-owned broadcaster (ERT) In July 2024. The episode titled explores how Greek cities are dealing with rising temperatures due to climate change. Theodoridis provided insights into the relationship between public spaces and the built environment, focusing on how cities can adapt to increasing heat. He also addressed the energy consumption of HVAC systems and their contribution to air pollution from burning fossil fuels. As the only architect among a group of experts, Theodoridis offered a distinct perspective on sustainable urban strategies.
