As seen in and , on May 16 members of the 蘑菇传媒 community and local elected officials gathered on the Long Island campus to mark the grand opening of the Biomedical Research, Innovation, and Imaging Center (BRIIC). The 20,000-square-foot facility provides researchers with new opportunities to advance discoveries and potential treatments for heart disease, cancer, Parkinson鈥檚 disease, and many other pressing conditions. In addition, an earlier posting on聽聽highlighted the ribbon-cutting event, where university leaders also announced the launch of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Academy.
